Wedding Anniversary

Today we celebrate 8 years of marriage. Time has flown and it is hard to believe we have been together for 10 years, married 8, and I have spent a 1/3 of my life with this man. I have been so blessed, and am so thankful God placed him in my life when He did. He knew exactly who I needed, and who would compliment me and my personality, and love me like no other man. Our meeting was by no accident, and I think our story is so uniquely special. He brought us together in His perfect timing. I am so thankful for that!

God has interwoven so much beauty in our lives together. He has grown us in so many ways, and still growing us today. We are so thankful for all God has done for us in this time together, and look forward to all God has in store for us. We celebrate our marriage today, but give God the utmost glory for our lives together and our 3 beautiful precious children. We may not always get it all right and may stumble but with God in the mix, He will ultimately lead us into the couple He designed us to be. I do not regret one day, one minute, but thank God for every day I have had with Nathan, and every day He gives us in this life together. So here's to the rest of our lives together, growing in God and in love!

The Bible in 90 Days

I am so excited about this Bible, The Bible in 90 days. I have done a Chronological Bible on a year plan, but in 90 days this really excites me. I am going to be blogging on what God is showing me and how He reveals himself to me during this study. Feel free to join. I am waiting on my participant guide to come in, and then I will begin. I love to read, and this setup is so easy, and its NIV which is nice too. However, I recommend doing in depth study as well. If you would like to join me, email me and I will send you encouragement as you commit to 90 days in steadily reading the word. This should be fun. I will be juggling two other Bible studies too. I am currently leading Crazy Love on Tuesday mornings, and will begin Made to Crave in an online study in January. God has shown me so much especially this past year, and I am so excited to see what He has in store for me this coming year. I hope anyone who comes across my blog will be blessed by it. Merry Christmas!

Getting rid of Clutter-Tip 1

I have a professional organizing business, and post tips on my site. I used to just post general organizing tips on the site. Then as I felt God changing my desires and thoughts, I have been relating a cluttered life to scripture. Here is the tip I posted on my site. Feel free to leave feedback.

Proverbs 24:3-4 says, " By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures."

My prayer for each one of you who struggle with filling your home with earthly desires and clutter, is to pray about your purchases before you make them, and really ask yourself do you need these items. They can lead to regret or buyers remorse, and can quickly junk up your home causing stress and consume your free time.

An inviting home is simple, classic, and the warmth it gives off comes from you. I pray you will ask God for the wisdom to give you discernment in filling your home and to gain in the knowledge of what really matters.

Focus on Him to fill you up, and then you will have a home filled with rare and beautiful treasures. One that others will want as well.

As the new year approaches, delight yourself in the Lord, and ask Him each day to give you wisdom in your daily decisions. Have a blessed Christmas and New Years.

Jesus is the reason for the season!

1st Blog

This is the first blog, of what I hope is many more to come. I have been wanting to blog for some time, but did not know where to start, and am still not sure I have it down. I guess it is a learning process. This blog will be on just about anything, not one specific thing, and I hope later I could nail down a topic and just write about it. I have always felt lead to write, but I don't feel I am an expert at anything so I will write on different topics that come in and out of my life or touch it. I hope if anyone follows my blog they will be blessed by it, and hope everyone has a blessed and Merry Christmas!
